Q I don’t want my staff away for the entire day(s). Can we get the training in half- days? A Yes. We have done that many times with our clients. Preferably, we facilitate the training back to back: One group is trained in the morning, another in the afternoon.
Q Can we have more hands on with role-plays?
A Yes. We customize our programs to meet your needs. If you want more role- playing, we work that into the program.
Q I don’t want all the bells and whistles of a manager’s tool kit or train-the-trainer. Can I just get the simple program?
A Yes. All our programs are stand-alone pieces that can be used together or alone. You tell us what you need and we will provide it.
Q Your training seems more expensive than some of the other programs I’ve heard about. Why is that so?
We’re not the most expensive and we’re not the least expensive. Like all excellent training programs, you are paying for the knowledge, skill and instructional design elements that go into producing practical, performance based training. Also, part of what you are paying for is the experience of our facilitators in business issues such as sales, customer service and actually running and managing a business.
Q I’m interested in how the manager toolkits work?
A These are CD-Rom’s which reinforce the skill sets learned during training. They are used by managers over a 12-month period to hold motivational training meeting with the team. Each module has a PowerPoint presentation with notes, handouts and SMART goals for the team to make ongoing goals that support the skills they have learned. Included is a coaching module with practical tips to support the managers in coaching their people.
Q Does the Train-The-Trainer cost a lot?
A We provide our clients with a licensing fee. This fee is calculated by the number of employees being trained over a certain time period.
Q I would like to mix and match the training programs. I’d like telephone skills, understanding people and Super Service—is that possible?
A Yes. We often mix and match program modules to suit our client’s needs. It’s all about you--what you need is what we work to provide.
Q Can we choose a certain facilitator?
A Yes. You can choose, and sometimes due to increased demand it may not be possible to get a particular facilitator. The key is to get your preference in early and book the dates. However all our facilitators are highly trained and experienced to provide an excellent training experience.
Q Do the prices include airfare and hotels?
A Airfare and hotel expenses are separate—we use a travel agent who typically provides lower rates than even most corporations.
Q What about performance measurement—do you have that with your programs?
A Yes. We work with you to determine what you would like to measure. Customer retention, productivity, attrition rates, or bottom line numbers— it’s all a question of being able to document the before and after figures.
Q What about assessment tools—do you have those?
A Yes. In fact we use a template that we developed with one of our major corporations and which they have successfully used for the past five years.
